"Oh, you're so lucky to bring Jesus in to those poor people." I am lucky but I don't haul Jesus around in a suitcase. I get to see what God has been up to in the last few hours. Then I get to tell the stories.

Please pray...
A man committed suicide at the jail last weekend. Actually, he hung himself early Saturday morning and died on Tuesday. He was facing serious charges in another state and, in light of everything else that had taken a serious downward spiral since last spring, I think he was a man living without hope. Please pray for him, for his friends and family in that other state, and for the men who found him and tried to save him.

Can you tell us his first name, Shannon?
Oh my, so many prayers for a situation that sounds tragic all the way around.
I have not been on the blogs as much as usual but you have been on my mind and heart. I am reading a book that I would like to share with you, if you don't already have it. Email to follow.
My prayers for you and for all who minister to those imprisoned. God bless you.
Claire, his first name is Arnold.
Thank you both for your prayers. He'd come to services that a couple of my volunteers conduct, so they were concerned to make the connection as well.
Shannon, I am sorry for the loss of Arnold. I will pray for him, his family and friends and for those men that tried to save him. Often, the last thing to die is hope. God bless you for all that you do for God's children.
